Technical Training for Clerks

Technical Training for Clerks is a professional development program focusing on clerk duties, current trends, issues and challenges. The goal of the program is to increase technical skill and to enhance personal and professional growth.

The TTC program is comprised of four unique 30 hour sessions which satisfy the educational requirement of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks for a Certified Municipal Clerk designation. The series can be taken in any order. The series are offered at the University of California Riverside Extension Center during March, June and September each year.

A letter is issued from TTC upon completion of each series. You are also able to register at UCR for 3 Extension Units during each series for a $150 fee payable to Regents UC. This is a total of 12 units when you attend all four series. You must be a registered TTC participant prior to registering for UCR credits.

A TTC Program certificate from TTC, CCAC and UCR is presented upon completion of all four series. There is also an opportunity to receive an additional certificate in Professional Training for California Municipal Clerks from UCR Extension.
